About Lisle, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The Village of Lisle is located in DuPage County, Illinois approximately twenty-five miles west of the city of Chicago.  Originally inhabited by members of the Pottawatomie Indian Tribe, the first white settlers to the area included James and Luther Hatch who opened a blacksmith shop and general store in 1832.  The area continued to thrive and grow until it was incorporated over one-hundred years later in 1956.

The village lies in the humid continental climate zone of the U.S. and experiences hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters, with beautiful, mild weather in the spring and fall.  No matter what the season, Lisle is a great place to be any time of the year!

Downtown Lisle is the heart of the city and a beautiful, pedestrian friendly district that features excellent shopping and dining opportunities.  PrairieWalk Pond and Dragonfly Landing are a 4.5-acre nature area located just west of Main Street.  PrairieWalk Pond is a recreational area that features a garden-like setting surrounding a two-acre pond with scenic overlooks and a wetlands area.  Dragonfly Landing is a children’s play area that features a playground with a fun splash pad, nature's tree house, and picnic shelter with a living "green" roof.

The Lisle Park District maintains and operates the city's Community Park, as well as the Sea Lion Aquatic Park and River Bend Golf Club.  The Morton Arboretum is a gorgeous collection of trees and plants from all over the world that features a special Children's Garden, a Maze Garden, the Sterling Morton Library, and trails for walking, hiking, biking, and skiing, as well as woodlands, prairies, lakes, ponds, and rivers.

For a history lesson on the local area, visit the Museums at Lisle Station Park that features information and exhibitions regarding the history and culture of 19th century Northern Illinois.
